Registration is open for the Department of Minnesota Convention
WILLMAR — The 105th American Legion Department of Minnesota Convention is July 11-13 at the Willmar Conference Center, with some standing committees meeting on July 10. Willmar Post 167 is hosting.

There is a sports betting bill, HF2000, that provides historic tax breaks for charitable gambling in Minnesota that will benefit our posts. We, The American Legion Department of Minnesota, can support this bill.

DAYTON — Registration is open for the 78th annual Minnesota State American Legion Family Bowling Tournament.

We are beginning to plan the Fund 85 Run for July 25-28 with the kickoff party on July 24. This year the run will be around southern Minnesota.

March also brings our yearly Spring Conference. This year it will be at Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, sponsored by SAL Squadron 225. This will be on Friday, March 15 (Finance and Executive Board meetings) and Saturday, March 16 for general membership. Registration cost is $20 and includes lunch.
