HAYFIELD — St. Charles Post 190 defeated Montevideo VFW Post 380 by a score of 4-2 to capture the championship trophy in the Minnesota American Legion Baseball Div. II Jr. State Tournament in Hayfield.
Minnesota teams bounced out at regional tournament
FARGO — The Carpetland Rugs of Lincoln, Neb., Post 500 will represent the Central Plains region in the American Legion World Series. The baseball team defeated the West Fargo Patriots 6-3 in the Central Plains Regional Tournament championship game Sunday.
