After six years of dedicated perseverance, members of the Montevideo American Legion Riders, the SAL and Legion Auxiliary completed construction of their impressive Veterans Memorial Park at the intersections of Minnesota Highway 7 and 17th Street in Montevideo.

Cold Spring Post 455 initiated the services of the Eden Valley Patriot Quilters to make its first presentations of 15 one-of-a-kind personalized quilts delivered free of charge to its members, many of whom are hospitalized, in nursing homes or in assisted living facilities.
