Bridge to Minneapolis Veterans Home reopens
MINNEAPOLIS — The historic truss bridge spanning Minnehaha Creek from Minnehaha Park to the Minneapolis Veterans Home reopened on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

MINNEAPOLIS — On Thursday, Feb. 8, the Minnesota Department of Administration notified the Minneapolis Veterans Home that the historic truss bridge on our campus will be closed starting at 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 12 until further notice.

Director: Minneapolis VA expanding services for veterans
By almost any measure, the Minneapolis VA provides high quality care. We measure this by a variety of means including surveys and inspections, visits by veteran service organization leaders and direct feedback from veterans on their experience, satisfaction and trust.
Commissioner: MDVA now has 4 cemeteries, to have 8 homes
This last year has seen some major accomplishments. After years of advocacy, planning and construction, MDVA completed four major construction projects: the Redwood Falls State Veterans Cemetery was dedicated in August when the first interments were held and three new Veterans Homes in Bemidji, Montevideo and Preston are close to opening.
