The Minnesota American Legion had a presence at the 934th Airlift Wing Family Day on Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Air Reserve Station
Fund 85 Run raises money for helping veterans
The Fund 85 Run started out at Forest Lake Post 225 and went to Arcadia, Wis., and back on Aug. 19.
What about pot at the posts?
ST. PAUL — The Minnesota Legislature in mid-May passed a bill that legalizes the use of marijuana for people 21 or older. Gov. Tim Walz signed the bill 10 days later.

Warrior Brewing out of Duluth makes Legion Lager
DULUTH — There is a beer growing in popularity throughout parts of Minnesota under the name “Legion Lager,” and the maker of it, Warrior Brewing, hopes this beverage corners the craft beer market for lagers.

My theme is “Veterans Helping Veterans.” Remember our Four Pillars when you think about helping our veterans young and old. This project falls under Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation.

We are now focusing on rejuvenating the Oratorical Program in the 6th, and we challenge the whole Department of Minnesota to do so, too!
