ALR Director: Warmer weather is around the corner
Please make plans to attend the Minnesota American Legion Riders Department Convention in Willmar on July 11. This year we will elect a new MNALR director to a two-year term, as well as an assistant director to a one-year term, along with a secretary/treasurer to a one-year term.
Bowling tournament is set for this spring
DAYTON — The 79th annual Minnesota American Legion Family Bowling Tournament will be March 29 to April 27. Singles and doubles leagues bowl at 11 a.m. Saturdays. Teams bowl at 3:30 p.m. Saturdays and noon Sundays.
ALR Director: Fund 85 Run will cross northern Minnesota
We are beginning to plan the Fund 85 Run for July 24-27 with the Kickoff Party on July 23.

Since the approval of the Minnesota American Legion Riders Constitution & Bylaws, I have received many questions regarding how and why. I first want to ensure all the Riders in the state that the Constitution & Bylaws was not written by a single person.
Ride for the Stones raises $19,000
BAGLEY — The 11th Annual Clearwater County “Ride for the Stones” was a huge success, breaking the previous record of money raised from over $16,000 last year to over $19,000 this year.
Walker American Legion Riders Chapter 134 donates TV sets to Bemidji Veterans Home
Walker ALR Chapter 134 takes great pride in supporting veterans. The chapter recommends veterans to take a tour of the home if they are in the area.
