ALR Director: Fund 85 Run will cross northern Minnesota

Hello, Legion Family!

Spring is coming fast; I can only hope that the lack of snow so far this winter continues, and we have an early spring.

We are beginning to plan the Fund 85 Run for July 24-27 with the Kickoff Party on July 23. This year, the run will be around northern Minnesota. If your Legion Family is interested in hosting the Riders this year, please contact me or MNALR Ride Captain Ted Berg. We are seeking a place for the Kickoff Party and the Ending Party.

It is time to start thinking about reporting. The Consolidated Chapter Report is important for us to be able to report to the Legion Family what the Riders are up to. Please look for the report in your email or look for it on the mnalr.org website. I am looking forward to seeing what all the chapters have been up to this year.

I know there are many other chapter runs and fundraisers happening across the state and throughout the year. Please invite me to your events so I can see all the good things you are doing!

If you would like help setting up a chapter at your post, please let me or your district Riders representative know so we can help you get things going. If you are interested in having me talk to your chapter or district about the reason for writing our Constitution & Bylaws, please contact me.
