The holiday season had me running all over the 4th District visiting different post Christmas parties. I’ve been visiting different veteran groups such as Every Third Saturday in South Minneapolis and Honor Bound Veteran in Rochester.

The 5th District held our Oratorical Contest this last weekend, I would like to thank all the contestants, their friends and families for their support, our volunteers and especially to Wold-Chamberlain Post 99 in Minneapolis for its space to hold our contest. We had some great speakers and a very deserving winner.

ST. PAUL — New e-pulltab requirements went into effect on Jan. 1, 2025, and in the first month, revenue from e-tabs are down 18 percent from the prior year, according to Gambling Control Board figures.
