New ADSO: Meet the new ADSO
For the many of you who do not know me, my name is Jason Storm. I was hired six months ago as the American Legion’s assistant department service officer (aka ADSO) for the Department of Minnesota.

I would like to begin by acknowledging my appreciation to Department Commander Linda Dvorak and Department President Robin Dorf for the invitation to bring greetings on behalf of the Minnesota American Legion Riders at the general sessions for both the Legion and Auxiliary during the annual Fall Conference. It was an honor to do this and hopefully, I represented the Legion Riders proudly.

LEGIONVILLE — The first three disabled veterans to participate in the first SAL Detachment of Minnesota Disabled Veterans Turkey Hunt at Legionville were Bernard Vail of Waconia Post 150, Matt Berens of Hopkins Post 320 and Ted Berg of Springfield Post 257.

Albert Lea wins bid to be start for national motorcycle ride
ALBERT LEA — Glenville American Legion Riders Chapter 264 submitted a winning proposal to have Albert Lea be the launch and endpoint on the Nation of Patriots Tour, a national motorcycle run that gathers financial support for disabled veterans and their families.
