DEC ratifies Minnesota American Legion Riders Constitution
ST. CLOUD — The Minnesota American Legion Riders now have a constitution and bylaws, rather than a standard operating procedure. The American Legion Department of Minnesota Executive Committee, at its Oct. 24 meeting in St. Cloud, ratified the Minnesota ALR Constitution & Bylaws after making minor changes pertaining to verb tense and the position of road captain and the term American Legion Family.

ST. CLOUD — National President Trish Ward of the Department of Kansas addressed the Fall Conference in St. Cloud on Thursday Oct. 24. President Ward is a retired corporate trainer and used her skills from her professional life to teach the Auxiliary throughout the country.

American Legion NEC passes anthrax resolution
INDIANAPOLIS — The American Legion National Executive Committee, at its meetings Oct. 9-10, approved a resolution calling for the federal government to conduct research on the anthrax shot given to many Persian Gulf War-era veterans.
