The visit included a leadership briefing with Medical Center leadership, the VISN23 Deputy Network Director and Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs Commissioner Brad Lindsay.
Are we ready for National Poppy Day?
This has been a year of learning more about the memorial flower, the poppy. In World War I the poppy came to symbolize the bloodshed by those who fought and those who continue to fight for our country.
Department Junior Conference was fun
The American Legion Auxiliary Department of Minnesota 61st Annual Department Junior Conference was held on Saturday, April 12, hosted by the 10th District at the Anoka Post 102. Honorary Department Junior President Teriana Richards did an outstanding job of running the conference.

ALBERT LEA — A 2010 American Legion Legacy Run stop hosted by Leo Carey Post 56 in Albert Lea inspired Legionnaire Wes Halverson to start an American Legion Riders chapter four years later when he was serving as post commander.
