ST. CLOUD — At the DEC meeting, candidates had the opportunity to announce. The 2025 candidates so far are:
Pearl Harbor Rally looking like a lot of fun
SPICER — The Pearl Harbor Rally will be Saturday, Dec. 7, at Spicer Post 545 and will be hosted by the American Legion Riders for all members of the American Legion Family.
Fall Conference is coming up
ST. CLOUD — The Fall Conference is planned for Oct. 25-26 with committee meetings on Oct. 24.
SAL Commander: Project to remain veterans assistance
I’d like to thank the members of the Detachment of Minnesota for re-electing me to be the detachment commander at the SAL Detachment Convention held at Forest Lake Post 225 on the weekend of June 28-29.

MONTGOMERY — Department Commander Paul Hassing will be honored at his Testimonial Dinner. Montgomery Post 79’s Taco Terco will provide the meal.

By matching squadrons’ money donated to the 75th Anniversary Banquet, those in attendance, counselors, staff and alumni can remember an event that keeps Minnesota Boys State growing.

WILLMAR — The 105th American Legion Department of Minnesota Convention is July 11-13 at the Willmar Conference Center, with some standing committees meeting on July 10. Willmar Post 167 is hosting.
