Who wants to be a biker road guard?
MONTICELLO — American Legion Riders Chapter 260 and VFW Post 8731 Riders have teamed up to offer a motorcycle road guard class this spring.
It takes places at Post 260 in Monticello, 304 Elm St., and there are 12 sessions to choose from.
Cost is $45. Prepayment is required. Session choice is first-come-first-served.
A Motorcycle Road Guard Certificate Application must be completed and sent to Minnesota Driver and Vehicle Services.
The application must be received three weeks before the training session the applicant wants to attend.
Applicants must bring the letter to training to be eligible to participate in the class.

The sessions are 9 a.m.-noon, 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. April 11 or 25.
For April 12 or 26, the times are 8:30-11:30 a.m., noon-3 p.m. and 3:30-6:30 p.m.
