On Tuesday, Aug. 13, the Walker American Legion Riders Chapter 134 visited the new Minnesota Veterans Home in Bemidji. The visit included a donation of two big-screen TV sets with mobile stands. This donation was decided upon after conferring with the staff and learning some of the needs. Not only was the donation meaningful, it was also a solution to enhancing the facility’s portability of educational and entertainment programming anywhere in the facility.
Presenting the donation is Chapter 134 Director Brad Taylor. He is presenting to Bemidji Veterans Home Recreational Therapy Director Dawn Huseby.
