Turkey hunt for disabled veterans scheduled for Camp Ripley

CAMP RIPLEY — The Disabled Veterans Turkey Hunt is set for April 30 to May 2 at Camp Ripley. Registration begins Feb. 1. Applications are due March 9.

Space is limited, and many veterans organizations are involved, including The American Legion.

Participants must be residents of Minnesota and be a veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Meals and lodging are provided free of charge. Participants must provide their own transportation to the base. Disadvantaged veterans will have priority, and other applicants are placed in a general lottery.

Applicants will be notified by email after March 16 of their selection status.
