Sweetheart Rally coming up Feb. 8

ROYALTON — The Sweetheart Rally takes place Saturday, Feb. 8, at Royalton Post 137. This one starts at 11 a.m., with a noon meal and a program to follow.

Cost of the meal is $20.

The luncheon is chicken, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, corn or green beans, dinner roll, water, lemonade and coffee.

The Sweetheart Rally is organized by the Minnesota American Legion Auxiliary and is an event for all members of the Minnesota American Legion Family.

To pay online, click on the Eventbrite link. There is a $3.18 convenience fee.

To pay by mail and skip the fee, send a $20 check and write “Sweetheart Rally” in the memo. Mail it to Minnesota American Legion Auxiliary, 20 W. 12th St. Room 314, St. Paul, MN 55155.

Minnesota ALA Secretary Christie Avant asks members to sign up by Monday, Feb. 3, so she can provide the post with a meal count.

The Appreciation Rally is set for Saturday, March 8, and it will be at Chanhassen Post 580. The social hour is slated to start at 11 a.m.
