Pipestone Post 6 competes in American Legion Junior Shooting Sports

The American Legion is conducting the 33rd Junior Three-Position Air Rifle Postal Tournament which provides competitors an opportunity to test their marksmanship ability in competition with other junior competitors throughout the nation. On Jan. 27, Pipestone American Legion Post 6 1st Vice Commander Chris Hoss judged the Pipestone County 4-H Shooting Sports Team & Individual Postal Match, Round 1, in the American Legion Junior Shooting Sports Program (JSSP). Post 6 affiliated with the county 4-H program for the JSSP Sporter Class Air Rifle competition. The Pipestone team placed first in Minnesota in sporter class. Post 6’s Joe Kor placed first individually, with Braedon Kor placing fourth. Todd Deterling from Redwood Falls Post 38 placed second, Donar Heldebrand from Richfield Post 435’s X-Men finished third.
