Morris Post 29 wins the Div. II Junior baseball title

The Div. II Jr. State Tournament champs are the 5039ers of Morris Post 29. At the tournament located at Richter Field in Granite Falls, the team won 2-0, defeating Montevideo VFW Post 380, which won the title in 2022. The nickname of 5039ers comes from the Morris VFW post, which also supports the team. (The town’s Div. II Sr. team is the 29ers.)
