Minnesota Girls State deadline is April 1

American Legion Auxiliary Minnesota Girls State 2025 78th session is June 15-21, 2025, at Bethel University in Arden Hills.

We are looking forward to another exciting year! Units, please send in your reservations!  The deadline is April 1.

The new Girls State video has created more interest for the program in our high schools. Units also received the video to be used for recruiting.

To view the video, go to mnala.org Girls State. The American  Legion Auxiliary Minnesota Girls State Committee started working with Camp Wise starting with this session. All forms that are required for Girls State will be done electronically by the student and parent. The citizens’ brief for the week will also only be available on their electronic devices.

It is time to embrace the electronic age if we expect to attract the younger generation, as well as save time in the department office and cost to the overall Girls State program going forward.

If any member knows of a current Junior student, please encourage them to apply for Girls State, there are units that want to send a citizen, but unfortunately are not able to recruit a student.

Your American  Legion Auxiliary Minnesota Girls State Committee has been working hard to implement these new changes to your Girls State program.  Our committee and counselors are excited and looking forward to the upcoming 78th American Legion Auxiliary Minnesota Girls State Girls State Session!
