Mail Call: Get Minnesota Legionnaire via email instead

In response to your requesting for donations to keep printing the Minnesota Legionnaire paper, how about sending out a survey on who would like to receive the paper via email to help cut down on shipping costs? I know I would.

Sending out the paper to just myself via email isn’t a lot of savings, but it is a start and some savings.

Editor’s note: You are correct. It helps. However, we have asked readers for this in the past, and we get around 40 to 70 each time, which is but a drop in a bucket compared to 53,000 members statewide. Anyone who wishes to receive the Legionnaire only via email can sign up at mnlegion.org. The donations have had a bigger impact, with $22,315 raised so far this fiscal year. The postage for a single issue is about $18,000.
