Mail Call: 2 columns really inspired good in people

Thank you for the May issue, especially the Chaplain’s Corner and the SAL Update.
Chaplain Kelley Ackerman’s affirmation of the many ways people express their faith and spirituality is so important in these days when so many struggle to not be angry about differences.
Then there was SAL Detachment Commander John Weiss’s story about a VA nurse overhearing a patient’s veteran friend on the phone contemplating suicide. Her heroic call to the police in the city where that veteran was triggered a team effort that saved his life. Stories like that always give people ideas for good.
