Letter: Div. I Jr. State Tournament ran like clockwork

By Shawn Cameron

I hope this letter reaches the right people.

As the Chanhassen Legion Post 580 Legion Baseball Team, we wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude to Bloomington Legion Baseball for hosting this year’s Minnesota American Legion Baseball Div. I Jr. State Tournament.

Jack Strong (of Buffalo), your exceptional leadership and meticulous planning did not go unnoticed. Having organized numerous tournaments myself, I recognize the effort it takes to create a seamless experience.

Your team’s preparedness, even in the face of unpredictable weather, was commendable. It’s evident that this isn’t your first rodeo, and we appreciate the attention to detail. Our community in Chanhassen had a fantastic time, thanks to both our substate hosts, Brady Cramer, and you, Jack.

Minnesota American Legion Baseball Committee, we know that selecting Bloomington as the host and entrusting Jack as the tournament director was a deliberate choice. As our squad’s journey in the tournament comes to an end today, we want you to understand just how much we value your commitment to youth baseball. Your dedication leaves a lasting impact on our players, and we’re grateful for the camaraderie you foster.

Thank you for everything you do for kids and for doing it exceptionally well.
