Joint testimonial dinner is coming in June

NEW PRAGUE — The date for the Joint Testimonial Dinner for both the department commander and president has been determined.

The gathering takes place Saturday, June 27, at New Prague Post 45, with a social hour at 5 p.m., a dinner at 6 p.m. and a program to follow.

A local variety band called JAWS will provide live music until 10 p.m. The name stands for Jumpin at the Woodside.

Testimonial dinners are a time to thank leadership for their time and efforts, and it often is an opportunity for a little bit of humor and fun thrown in.
