ST. CLOUD — The Minnesota American Legion Riders now have a constitution and bylaws, rather than a standard operating procedure.
The American Legion Department of Minnesota Executive Committee, at its Oct. 24 meeting in St. Cloud, ratified the Minnesota ALR Constitution & Bylaws after making minor changes pertaining to verb tense and the position of road captain and the term American Legion Family.

Minnesota American Legion Riders Director Jody Hassing and Secretary Shawn Davis were glad to see the document they brought to Legion and Legion Riders meetings last summer finally become official.

Hassing said the document is in line with similar documents for the Legion, Auxiliary and SAL. A major change for the Minnesota Legion Riders is getting rid of the bottom rocker on vests.
