Date set for Veterans Day on the Hill

Date set for Veterans Day on the Hill
ST. PAUL — DAV of Minnesota Legislative Director Trent Dilks was able to set Wednesday, April 9, for Veterans Day on the Hill.
Veterans Day on the Hill is held by the Minnesota Commanders’ Task Force — which is the Legion, VFW, DAV and five other congressionally chartered veteran orgs — and brings together about 600 veterans from all across Minnesota to advocate for veterans legislation.
Doors open at 10 a.m. for coffee at the St. Paul Armory for Veterans Day on the Hill 2025.
The free lunch is at 11:30 a.m., followed by a program and a march to the Capitol Rotunda after. Be sure to thank the Disabled American Veterans of Minnesota for the meal and for renting the armory.
Legion posts are encouraged to rent buses and bus veterans from their area to the Capitol. The DAV of Minnesota is willing to cover half the cost of bus rentals. Contact Dilks at [email protected] well in advance.
