Commander Dvorak reaches goal for her fundraising project

ST. PAUL — Department Commander Linda Dvorak’s Project raises funds for the Minnesota Veterans Assistance Fund and for benches at the Minnesota Military & Veterans Museum.

As of the last issue of The Minnesota Legionnaire, which was sent to the press on Feb. 5, she had received $101,050. Her goal was $100,000, so she was at 101 percent of her goal. She made a giant leap since the Dec. 18 reading of the thermometer, climbing $26,601, of which $12,500 was from Golden Valley Post 523.
