Bravo Zulu House to open dog kennels for training service dogs
WINNEBAGO — American Legion Department of Minnesota Commander Pam Krill is a member of the board of directors for Bravo Zulu House in Winnebago.
She wants members of The American Legion statewide to know they are invited to a grand opening ceremony at the Bravo Zulu House’s men’s home at 2949 230th St., Winnebago, at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, with a 10 a.m. ceremony start.
The event marks the launch of Bravo Zulu’s Koch Family Kennels. The nonprofit has a new partnership with K9s for Warriors and plans to house dogs at the site.
The project was made possible through several donors, who will be on hand. So will K9s for Warriors CEO Daniel Bean, as will dog therapy program leader Elizabeth Odenthal.
There will be complimentary coffee, water and snacks, along with a tour of the kennels and the men’s home. The full flier is shown below:
