Barnum Post 415 leads Military Day at Carlton County Fair

Boy Scout Troop 169 and members of Barnum Post 415 watch as the flag that Kaden Carlson provided as part of his Eagle Scout project is dedicated. The flag was dedicated during National Night Out in a ceremony that included a new lighted flagpole and American flag in the heart of the Barnum city park.
Barnum Post 415 kicked off Military Day at the Carlton County Fair on Aug. 19 with a flag-raising ceremony. The post thanks all veterans and special guests Rep. Jeff Dotseth, Col. Conrad Ross, Moose Lake Post 379 Commander Jerry Telker, national anthem singer Margaret Butkiewicz and all the families in attendence, as well as fairgrounds staff for the flowers surrounding the flagpole.
