10th District commander’s August 2024 report
My theme for this year is “Do Your Part,” a nod to a wartime slogan for the Women’s Army Corps (WACs), to acknowledge all the important roles each of us plays in this organization. I think it fits well with the 10th District Auxiliary President Bethany Dickert’s theme “Lift Each Other Up.”

The last weekend of July the American Legion Riders rode to raise money for all Minnesota Veterans in need as we visited Legion posts and veterans homes in southern Minnesota. We were able to visit and tour two new veterans homes in Montevideo and Preston.
Quilts of Valor keeps Northfield veterans warm
Carol Kaune of Quilt of Valor Group Cannon Quilts presented Quilts of Valor to Raymond D. Ozmun (Army-Camp Rucker) and Richard C Ozmun (Navy-USS Forrestal) at the Northfield Post 84 meeting on July 16.
