Anderson endorsed for department historian

Christopher Anderson Sr. has been endorsed by Hastings Post 47 for Department of Minnesota historian for 2024-2025.

Anderson is the immediate past commander of Hastings Post 47 and currently gambling manager. He also has served as membership director.

At the 3rd District level, Anderson proudly serves as a vice commander.

At Department of Minnesota level, he has brought his many technical talents to service on the Media & Communications Committee. He is the incumbent department historian.

Anderson is eligible for membership in The American Legion through his service in the U.S. Marine Corps, during which time he served in the Persian Gulf War. He is a graduate of the Minnesota American Legion College. He has two sons (both proud Sons of The American Legion members) in Moorhead, and his wife, Christine, is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Along with being a member of The American Legion, Chris is a member of the Marine Corps League and the VFW. He is a senior engineering technician with Dakota County.
