ALR Director: Send in runs, rides and fundraisers

Hello!

With fall upon us, many of us Legion Riders are hoping for a couple of more rides before we have to put our bikes away for the winter.  The warm weather is holding on for a bit longer, so I hope you are all getting your wish for a couple of nice fall rides.

What plans does your chapter have to keep active during the winter? Bring those thoughts and ideas to Fall Conference and share them during our learning session on Saturday afternoon.

The Pearl Harbor Rally is Dec. 9 at Paynesville American Legion Post 271.  This is a Legion Family gathering that is hosted by the American Legion Riders. Social hour will be at 11 a.m.; Lunch at noon with a program to follow.  The meal will be a make your own burger bar with chips and a salad for $16. I am looking forward to seeing many of our Legion Riders there as well as the rest of the Legion Family!

I know there are many other chapter runs and fundraisers happening across the state and throughout the year. Please invite me to your events so I can see all the good things you are doing! The Riders will have a learning session at Fall Conference. It is Oct. 28 at 2 p.m., though it probably is in the past by the time you read this. Please join us in St. Cloud. The entire Legion Family is welcome to come learn more about your American Legion Riders.
