Past President: Thank you for a fantastic Auxiliary year
Thank you to the Department of Minnesota American Legion Family for the most rewarding year serving as your department president.
Our organization, and you the members, have given me opportunities to grow, learn and contribute in ways I never thought possible. Please continue to encourage each other, support new ideas, and celebrate both individual achievements and the collective success of our department.
These last weeks of this administrative year were busy. Thank you to everyone who attended the joint testimonial in late June and celebrated a year of service, not just for your leadership, but as members of our department.
The following weekend — Independence Day weekend — American Legion Auxiliary National President Pam Ray visited Minnesota.

Thank you to the Armed Forces Service Center, Minneapolis VA Medical Center, Magnus Foundation, St. Cloud Stand Down and St Cloud VA Medical Center for the informative tours highlighting how our department serves our veterans and families.
Thank you to the Osseo-Maple Grove American Legion Family for hosting the dinner and to the Forest Lake American Legion Family for the wonderful Fourth of July festivities.
Department Convention just ended, and our members in Minnesota truly promoted our mission and worked our programs this past year. Thank you to all members for the tremendous work you did for our veterans, military and their families and your communities. The book of annual reports will be available on the department website for you to read.
The Department of Minnesota President’s Project raised over $46,000 for Honor Flight! Thank you to everyone who helped support the project and ensuring our veterans have an opportunity to participate. Minnesota always steps up!
Congratulations to President Linda Kelly, 1st Vice President Jody Hassing, 2nd Vice President Hope Wilson, and all of the district presidents on your election to office. I look forward to watching you all lead our department.
Thank you to everyone for a fantastic year!
Robin Dorf of Monticello Unit 260 is the immediate past president of the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Minnesota.
