The Department of Minnesota American Legion Riders (MN ALR) will kick off the annual FUND 85 Run on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, beginning in New Ulm and traveling through the southern half of Minnesota over four days. The ride will feature overnight stops in Montevideo and St. Peter before concluding with an ending celebration in Waseca on Saturday, July 25.

The New Ulm kickoff includes hotel blocks at the Microtel Hotel and Best Western Hotel, along with an optional Schell’s Brewery tour for interested riders. For the brewery tour, contact Kris Schneeberg at 507-276-1717 or email [email protected] by July 20.

On Thursday, July 23, riders will depart New Ulm at 8:00 a.m. and travel through Redwood Falls, Lamberton, Fulda, and Pipestone before continuing on to Montevideo for supper and overnight accommodations. Friday’s route begins in Montevideo and includes stops in Olivia, Springfield, St. James, Fairmont, and Lake Crystal before ending in St. Peter.

The final day, Saturday, July 25, begins in St. Peter at 8:00 a.m. and includes stops in Faribault, Kasson, Adams, Austin, Glenville, and Albert Lea before the ride concludes in Waseca. Riders and supporters will gather at the Waseca American Legion for supper and the ending party.

Participants are encouraged to reserve rooms early, as each hotel block has a limited release date. This year’s FUND 85 Run promises a memorable journey, strong fellowship, and continued support for the American Legion mission.
