Who will your post send to Minnesota Boys State?

As February dawns, literature for this year’s Boys State has arrived at American Legion posts.

Summers fill up fast for students with music and sport camps, leagues and vacations. Seeking attendees for participation in our annual event sooner than later will ensure success filling spots at St. John’s University June 14-20.

Minnesota’s House of Representatives and Senate have several former Boys Staters as members. Several more have filed for office for this coming term.

They were inspired by their experiences through the program you sponsor. In my experience, these young men have been moderates in their thinking, open to compromise and discussion on bills brought to their legislative experience at Boys State.

Our website, www.mnboysstate.org is updated with current information pertaining to the upcoming session. This can be helpful to you in your recruitment efforts, as well for potential attendees and their parents. Legionnaires are also welcome to join our staff during the week.
