Next Auxiliary DEC meeting is March 14 before the Appreciation Rally

BLOOMINGTON —The Minnesota American Legion Auxiliary is scheduled to meet at 8:30 a.m. March 14 in the conference room at Bloomington Post 550.

Post 550 shares its building with VFW Post 1296 at 311 W. 84th St. in Bloomington behind the Lyndale Avenue Cub Foods.

The Appreciation Rally begins with a social hour at 11 a.m., followed by a meal at noon. A program follows the meal.

The cost is free. Post 550 is paying for the meal, and Post Commander Blaine Beste has asked members to bring a donation for the Department Commander’s Project in lieu of their meal expense. Sign up by March 7 to have the free meal.

Department 2nd Vice President Jody Hassing also is the president of Bloomington Unit 550.
