Letter: Why would knives be made in China?

Several years ago, I received a knife from the Legion as part of renewing my membership. Upon receiving the nicely packaged item; I noticed on the box “MADE IN CHINA.” I was more than offended! I realize money is a driving agent, but why, oh why must we be insulted with product made by our enemy?
