4th District commander’s December 2023 report

The 4th District has started off the holiday season with a great event. We had our first-ever family holiday event celebrating every holiday from Thanksgiving past the New Year.

Department Honorary Junior Auxiliary 2nd Vice President Bree England held a toy collection for underprivileged children that she will give to Department President Sharon Cross at the Pearl Harbor Rally, and she also collected $155 for Department Commander Paul Hassing’s Project, Fund 85. Both were very successful.  We had a great turnout for the event.

With the holidays approaching and winter coming, we will have our December District Ramsey County Central Committee meeting via Zoom Dec. 13.

If you would like to attend, we can email you the invitation or you will be able to find it on the 4th District Facebook page. We have our 4th and 5th Districts Joint Mid-Winter Jan. 6 at St. Helena Catholic Church in Minneapolis.

We will walk in the Winter Carnival Parade on Jan. 27. We will meet at Arcade Phalen Post 577 by 11 a.m. We will be taken to the step of site by bus.
