4th District commander’s August 2024 report

The 2024-2025 year has arrived, and the 4th district is hitting the road with a great new program called The Legion Cruisers. This new program will be similar to our Legion Riders program, only with classic/modified car enthusiasts.

We are currently working on the details of the program and would like to invite any 4th District Legion Family members who would like to participate in the development of this new program to send an email to 4thdistrictamericanlegion@gmail.com.

We will be scheduling buddy check events around the districts to stay in contact and provide services for our members in addition to reconnecting events at our military facilities to provide services and resources to our service members.

We are working on outdoor events such as ruck marches, range days and motivational 5K events. If you have any ideas for new events/groups please let us know. It is our plan to increase our membership and community profile throughout our district. Your post membership goals will be sent out to your post adjutants this week. Our goal this year is to make 100 percent or greater.

District officers are always available to assist your posts, so please do not hesitate to contact your district area vice commanders, membership director or myself for assistance. We are all looking forward to an exciting year and can’t wait to see you in the coming months.
