3rd District Commander’s December 2024 Report

The cold winter wind is blowing, and snow has finally come, though it didn’t stick around too long. Winter is finally here!

The past few weeks have slowed way down, but after Thanksgiving it always begins to heat back up again with the people that for the past few months have said they will not renew until the 2024 membership is just about to expire. You know who you are!

Christmas is on its way and families will be getting together to celebrate the holidays! Grab your family (even the furry ones) and friends and hold them tight! There is nothing more precious in this world than family and friends!

Here is a great idea for this month! Check with your local nursing homes or assisted living centers for veterans that may have been forgotten. Consider maybe getting them a small gift or card. It’s nice to know that someone is remembering them. However, no treats unless you check with the staff first!
