2nd District Shooting Sports team shines at state championship

The 2nd District Jr. Shooting Sports team finished second at the 2025 Minnesota Civilian Marksmanship Program State Championship, hosted by Minnesota Centershots at Anoka Post 102 on March 22. The team included Joe and Braedon Kor, in photo below, from Pipestone Post 6, and, above, Shawn Mathews, Owen Horejsi and Nickelson Plaetz of Redwood Falls Post 36. Horesji and Matthews fired their final match as civilians as both enlisted in the Minnesota National Guard. The team was coached by Jerry Ludwig and Scott Kor.
