2nd District commander’s October report

Greetings, 2nd District!

We are about 85 memberships behind from where we were last year at this time. Get your memberships processed as soon as possible. Shake the trees, beat the bushes and get it taken care of! The sooner memberships are processed, the sooner you won’t have to worry about it anymore for 2024.

There will be a District Membership Rally held at Post 36 in Fairmont on Oct. 21. It is shaping up to be a good time. More information will be available in the 2nd District newsletter. I hope that we see Legionnaires from all across the 2nd District there! We are working on plans for some more membership rallies in the district through the year. Stay tuned for more information regarding them.

The Department Fall Conference will be here before we know it. If you have never been to a Fall Conference before, I would highly recommend you consider it. It will be held Oct. 26-28 in St. Cloud at the Kelly Inn. More information can be found on the department website and in the Legionnaire.
