2nd District Commander’s March-April 2025 Report

Greetings from the 2nd District!

It’s everyone’s favorite time of year: Reports! Get those Consolidated Post Reports and program reports filled out and sent in as soon as possible. Post Data Reports and Officer Reports will be coming due in a few months as well.

Elections are coming for posts and those officer reports are essential for keeping records updated for communication purposes. The past few years, the district officers have spent hours on the phone with post adjutants who would not turn in CPRs or officer reports. They only take a few minutes to fill out and send in. There is no reason why anyone from district should have to call a post to fill out a report for you.

Information regarding the 2nd District Convention will be coming out soon. The convention will be June 6-7 at Pipestone Post 6. When your post holds its annual elections, get your ducks in a row with who your delegates for the district and department convention will be. If your post is not holding annual elections, your post needs to get their ducks in a row. Period.

I hope to see many Legionnaires at their post meetings as well as at upcoming district functions before my term as 2nd District commander is completed and the torch is passed to the next commander in June!
