Greetings from the 1st District! I am a PUFL member of Eyota Post 551 and Rochester Squadron 446. My grandfather served in the Army during World War II and my father was in the Air Force during Vietnam.

I began my military service with the Minnesota National Guard from 1983 to 1986. I served in the U.S. Army from 1986 to 1992. I was stationed at Fort Polk, La., and Bamberg, Germany. I was in the Persian Gulf War from 1990 to 1991. After combat, I returned stateside and served in the Minnesota National Guard Red Bulls from 2004 to 2005.

I would like to thank those who have supported me. I am honored to be elected as commander of the 1st District. My goal is to utilize the technology and education that has been set in place to bring the Legion Family together. Together, we can make great things happen.
