10th District commander’s December 2023 report

Holiday greetings to everyone in the Minnesota American Legion Family from all of us in the Mighty Tenth District.

I must say that this has been an enjoyable time of year so far. As of this writing, Veterans Day was recently upon us. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all veterans, past and present, for their service to our beloved nation. And I would like to send a special thank you to the Anoka, Mound, Fridley and Harris posts for their outstanding Veterans Day Dinners and warm fellowship.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in recent revitalization efforts. Not just in our district, but the department as a whole. I am happy to report that both the Coon Rapids and Edina posts are on track to have an exciting 2024 thanks to a lot of hard work. Let’s keep that momentum going!

Lastly, I wanted to send holiday warm wishes to my parents, Butch and Kathi. And to all of the Legion Family in my hometown of Benson.
